Canon EOS 350D Digital Camera
This is a great cheap digital camera. I adore the faster processor. Quicker start-up. Speedy digital picture review. Ultra fast uploading times. This digital camera has a few tweeks that a while getting use to. No power-charging plug like almost every other good digital camera in the world possess. This Canon digital camera takes fantastic digital photos, and even better ones if you can get your paws on a nice photo lens with a far reaching focal length. My Canon digital camera kit came with a 75-300mm Canon ultra zoom, it's not the major league kind, but it does the job and the qulaity of the digital photos are fantastic. I also have an EOS 300 film slr. 350d is bit on the heavy side but still is very compact. There are some brilliant deals on e-bay so the price is affordable. One negative, I suppose it would be nice to have the sort of quality of digital pictures you'd get with a $5999 SLR digital camera, but you still can if you pick up one a better quality lens.
Canon Powershot A80
With the Canon Powershot A80 swivel LCD is a real plus and the best feature of this "cheap Canon digital camera". The Canon A80 digital camera gives you the ability to bring out you artistic side - the digital camera gets you away from taking shots at eye level and gives you the opportunity to take shots like a proffessional. The ISO ratings are very high on this Canon Digital Camera and it can perform less than desired in bright conditions just set it at -1/3EV to compensate for this. The Powershot is a fantasticaly made digital camera capable of giving you professioanl shots. Using the settings in the Canons menu is very simple. One thing to look out for once you have changed a setting within one of the models,canon poweshot digital camera stays in that mode. This feature can either be a good or band thing depending on your situation. The top dial gives a shotcut to the Canons Powershot A80 many shooting options without accessing the sometimes difficult menu system. For me, the only things which would improve the Canon A80 digital camera would be a 1.8 LCD, this option is present on the newly released A75 and a low battery warning light. The digital camera cuts out with no warning once the battery has finished. All in all a solid piece of work. I highly recomend the Canon Powershot A80 to the "Cheap Digital Camera" readers.

Canon produces the most sophisticated algorithms in any cheap digital camera. Colour production amongst Canons digital cameras is second to none.
The Canon S50 also has Canon's characteristic of producing digital images that make you look like a professiona. The Canon S50 digital camera is the Mercedes Benz of compact digital camers.
It comes with all the key features of the excellent Canon G5 digital camera,
but packs it in a nice small package with a fantastic "compact digital camera".
